Welcome to the Project Search Engine of Service Civil International
International Volunteer Projects are a unique form of volunteering, bringing together people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds to live and work together on projects with local communities and a range of organisations working for a more just and peaceful world.
International Volunteer Projects are short term volunteer projects which aim to:-
-
break down barriers between people and develop intercultural understanding
-
contribute to building a culture of peace among people
-
support the ongoing work of a wide range of local community, environment and peace organisations to get a practical project completed
The projects place a strong emphasis on intercultural learning and include elements of peace education. There are many different projects to choose from and they are open to everyone.
