Workcamp Details

Tent of Nations is situated on a large piece of land of the family Nassar. It is threatened with confiscation by Israel. For 17 years the family is fighting in court to maintain the land. During this case they also defend several smaller pieces of land of neigbouring farmers. International presence of volunteers on the land is essential in the struggle for keeping the land. The family tries to live as much self supplying as possible. They grow crops, make olives and olive oil and have a small animal farm for milk and eggs.

The Almond/Fig harvest camp is provided for both locals and internationals. Campers will sleep out at the campsite for a whole week. In the morning they will pick almonds and figs. In the afternoon there will also be a special program with visits to the neighbouring villages. Throughout the day there will be other fun activities like story telling, open discussions, games & sports and evening gatherings around the fire.
