Volunteering On 2 Wheels, Ruski Krstur
Description: The Tourist Association “Ruski Krstur” was founded in 2013 in order to promote the touristic potential of the village. Seven associations joined their work and activities in order to represent, enable and create the touristic profile of the village Ruski Krstur.
Type of Work: The aim of this workcamp is to improve and raise the quality of touristic profile of the village. Volunteers will repair old bicycles, donated by the local families to be used by tourists, guests and the associations in Ruski Krstur. The work includes sanding and painting frames as well as mounting of new and used parts on bikes. Each volunteer will have the opportunity to paint a bicycle in their own design. Volunteers with basic skills in bicycle mechanical work would be very useful in group. A significant number of young people from the village will take part in the work, as they are already eager to host international volunteers for several years in a row!
