School of Journalism - Russian Language
Description: Aim of the project: promotion of intercultural cooperation, fight against stereotypes, building of cross-cultural bridges. Participants will learn the basics of mass media work and then write an articleof Russian life in a provincial city. The best articles will be published in the magazine.A media tutor is provided by a popular local online magazine in the city Voronezh. Selected articles of the participants will be published in Internet. Volunteers will also learn Russian together with the teacher in a language school.
Type of Work: Work 2-3 hours per day learning the language. Language of the project: Russian (A2 level), English
Accommodation: Hostel in the city center or family placement, 3 meals a day.
Requirements: Command of Russian language min A2.250 euro (course of Russian language)and sightseeing tours.
Approximate Location: Voronezh is the capital of the Central Black Earth Region of Russia (1 million inhabitants). The city has very good connections Moscow-Voronezh via railway, busses and planes. The city keeps its historical outlook (founded in 16th century) and combines it with modern urban development.
Notes: For those who will arrive in Moscow earlier, we can organise a pre-camp day with a city- tour and nice welcome evening. Please, notify us in advance if you are interested.
