Study Theme: Uglich is one of the pearls of the Golden Ring of Russian cities. Different periods of the history of Russia left their monuments in Uglich. Each epoch added the names of people whose fates are somehow connected with the fate of the city, with the destiny and history of Russia itself. It was in Uglich that the two dynasties of Russian tsars unite in an incomprehensible way. Here the last Ryurikovich died - the son of Ivan the Terrible Tsarevich Dmitry. On days off we offer excursions and free time activities. Volunteers may enjoy hiking around the area, with many museums and churches around.
Accommodation: Lodging, food and excursions are provided by the local host. Volunteers will live in a dormitory, located not far from the work place, toilet and bathroom on the floor. We will have a bus to reach the working place if necessary. Meals 3 times a day will be provided in the canteen. Alcohol is prohibited in our camp.
